30th Global Inspiration Conference Wraps Up in Berg en Dal: A Week of Breathwork and Uplifting Energy

Berg en Dal, Netherlands – August 4, 2024: The serene village of Berg en Dal in the Netherlands played host to the 30th Global Inspiration Conference (GIC) from July 27 to August 3, 2024. Organized by IAK's Partner IBF(International Breathwork Foundation), the event brought together over 200 breathwork practitioners and enthusiasts from around the world for a week of workshops, networking, and rejuvenation.

The highlight of the conference was the announcement of the latest version of the IBF Breathing App. All the participants gave a great applause to the presentation of the Breathing App. The introduction video was created in collaboration with IAK culture association and the 19-year-old entrepreneur, Richard Siegert(founder of Paradies Rheintal GmbH).

Ms. Jian Geyang, the President and founder of the IAK Culture Association, also led a wonderful workshop during the conference. Titled "Breathing: The Origin of Eastern Body and Mind Practice," the workshop delved into the ancient traditions of breathwork and their applications in modern wellness practices. Participants were guided through techniques (Bodhidharma, Ba Duan Jin Practice, and Breathing, 5th to 6th century CE 菩提达摩之八段锦) that combine mindfulness with breath control, aimed at promoting physical health and mental clarity.

Joining the conference was the CEO of Health & Happiness AG and Group, Mark Siegert, who emphasized the importance of breathwork in fostering global wellness. “Life starts with breathing, and health starts with breathing,” Siegert stated, underscoring the foundational role of breath in human life and its impact on overall well-being.

The conference featured a diverse array of activities including guided meditation sessions, breathwork demonstrations, and interactive discussions on the latest research in the field. Attendees experienced a harmonious blend of learning and relaxation, with the picturesque surroundings of Berg en Dal providing an ideal backdrop for the event.

Participants reported a palpable sense of positive and happy energy throughout the week. The gathering fostered a spirit of community and mutual support, with many attendees expressing gratitude for the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals dedicated to the practice of breathwork.

The GIC has been a significant event in the breathwork community for three decades, and this year's conference continued the tradition of inspiring and educating practitioners. As the global interest in holistic health practices grows, the conference serves as a pivotal platform for sharing knowledge and advancing the field of breathwork.

As the 30th GIC concludes, plans are already underway for next year’s conference. GIC2025 will be held in Australia, promising another enriching experience for breathwork enthusiasts worldwide.
